Colonial Cafe was first established in 1968, and located near the heart of Wellington city – The Parliament. With the passion of making coffee and serving customers, our coffee shop is an absolute combination between these elements.

Over 50 years, we are proud to serve you with qualified coffee beans and fresh, tasty meals. If you need a very strong coffee to start a brand new day, please don’t hesitate and come to our place. Besides coffee, Colonial Cafe has a wide range of meals for you to choose, from classical to modern style for you. Suitable for anyone and any age.   • Our cafe is located at 1/41 The Terrace, Wellington.
  • We operate from 6am-4pm Mon-Fri.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

3. Menu and Pricing

  • All prices are in New Zealand Dollar and include applicable taxes.
  • Prices and menu items are subject to change without notice.
  • We strive to ensure that all information on our menu is accurate; however, errors may occur.

4. Allergies and Dietary Requirements

  • Please inform our staff of any allergies or dietary requirements before placing your order.
  • We will do our best to accommodate your needs, but we cannot guarantee that our products are free from allergens.

5. Payment

  • We accept Visa, Credit, Paywave
  • Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.

6. Refunds and Returns

  • If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 7 days.
  • We do not offer refunds by transferring money back to the customer’s account.
  • Refunds can be held as credit or issued as a gift voucher, which can be used for future purchases at our cafe.
  • Gift vouchers or credits are valid for 6 Months from the date of issue.
  • Please present the original receipt or proof of purchase when requesting a refund or exchange.

7. Conduct

  • We expect all customers to behave respectfully towards our staff and other patrons.
  • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
